If you are of Lithuanian heritage, you already belong to the Lithuanian American Community.

The Baltimore Chapter of the Lithuanian American Community is for people of Lithuanian heritage regardless of where they were born or how long they have been living in the U.S., or how many generations ago their ancestors came to this country. And non-Lithuanian spouses are one of us also.

Since being incorporated the Baltimore Chapter of the Lithuanian American Community has worked to nurture Lithuanian cultural identity, to transmit it to the young, and to persuade everyone of Lithuanian descent to enrich their lives by interacting with others of Lithuanian heritage.

The Baltimore Chapter of the Lithuanian American Community has many ties with the country of our heritage, Lithuania. We are interested in strengthening Lithuania's democratic institutions, especially of its non-governmental organizations, and we support all efforts to work for the betterment of Lithuania.

We work in close co-operation with Lithuanian educational, cultural, religious, community, social, and other organizations,

We promote the Lithuanian culture in the U.S. and provide information to Americans about Lithuania,

We organizes activities that foster interaction among Lithuanians within the United States and around the world.

The Baltimore Chapter of the Lithuanian American Community is a proud member of the Lithuanian World Community, an organizational network embracing Lithuanians living in 36 countries.
